I'd appreciate first hand, or a trusted friends advice/experience for where to look in Beaver PA. I'd prefer to rent a home, but having a good lead on other options would be great. My main concern is quietness, or as quiet as possible; I know, tough thing to exactly quantify/rate, but it is my most important "must have". I want to stick to Beaver proper, to be able to walk to stores/shops via sidewalks.

Thanks for the help.

Check out Bovard Anderson (bovardanderson.com). They rent all over the county, but they run many properties in the town. They've been around since like 1906 or something like that. They are real estate, but also a property management agency--in my case, someone else owns my building and they just process the rents, and take care of the maintenance calls and so forth. As far as quietness--ha, of course that depends on the specifc place, but I wouldn't exactly call any part of Beaver "loud" . . .

Definitely a quiet town. Beaver begins to roll up the streets around 8pm, even on weekends.

Thanks Sammy and erieguy. Isn't Beaver also a dry town... No Bars, or distributors? Can you even get a glass of wine with dinner? I do remember Beaver being a quiet town; now I just need to find a complex that is quiet, or as quiet and peaceful as a complex can be.

Yep. Dry town. Mario's is BYOB. There are bars approx 10 seconds across the town line.

If you are itching for a drink, there is an Applebee's just a few minutes out of town near the Beaver Valley Mall.

There's bars within walking distance of town.

There is one distributor that was grandfathered in, nothing special.

I get why they do it and on the whole it's not a big deal, but I always thought that third Street business district would be an incredible spot for a little micro or brewpub. It would be a great destination, great for the town and wouldn't detract at all.

Thanks everyone. I like the Brewpub idea... I imagine something like Voodoo in Meadville, would be great for Beaver, and would fit right in on 3rd st, or even close to 3rd st.
