Budget is $700 - $900. I've seen Southpointe listed @ nearly $1100/month which is too much right now.
Definitely don't want ghetto. Prefer older in a nicer area than the other way around.

What about the town proper of Canonsburg?

Canonsburg pa $ 775 monthly plus utilities apartment large 2 bed/garag

Canonsburg Huge 1 Br

2-3 Bedroom House

Beautiful town home, move right in!

2 Bedroom Duplex

^ These are all in the $700/month-$900/month range, and while none of them look "high-end" (you won't get that ANYWHERE locally for under $1,000/month) they all look perfectly habitable to me.

Some on here have an aversion towards anything "old", but just because Canonsburg is old doesn't mean it's undesirable. It is home to the Sarris Candy Factory (a must-visit for their old-fashioned ice cream parlor alone!), Starbucks (mocha frappuccino, baby!!!), an upscale Pizza Hut (yes, you read that correctly), and numerous day-to-day conveniences like banks, pharmacies, a post office, medical offices, houses of worship, parks, etc. I've heard the town has a drug problem, but considering even our national celebrities keep dropping like flies from opioid abuse I don't think even wealthier neighborhoods are without their fair share of those popping pills or boozing it up nowadays.

Thanks SteelCity Rising - Based on what I can tell (location in or close to McMurray) I'm guessing anywhere from Bethal Park / Mt Lebanon to Canonsburg / Thompsonville / would all be good areas around McMurray.
