They had Russian flags and were wearing bandanas over their mouths. It was very peaceful when I was there and looked pretty mellow. They weren't even saying anything. Thank goodness we aren't dealing with what they are in Boston right now. Pittsburgh is better than that.

Yac, feel free to lock this thread if you want. I just wanted people to know it was going on a small scale.

Boston is doing fine. I'm in touch with friends who are there and sharing pictures on Facebook; it's just a peaceful demonstration. Glad the Pittsburgh event is peaceful too.

Um, you might want to turn on the news. The counter protestors are going nuts as usual and the police are in riot gear pushing them back. Several arrests. The original peaceful protest ended hours ago. It is all over Fox news.

Anyway, I don't think this thread needs to go on, just there is a protest and if the counter protesters show up, that is when things can get bad.

I don't know why. For all I know they were the counter protesters? I just drove by and don't really care about it. Not into extremists. I do feel bad for James being fired, but if you don't fit the mold of Google, you would be swiftly kicked out, so you better keep very quiet if you are center or even a right wing or BOOM gone.

gg, I'm following it very closely. 20 arrests and 15,000 protesters. That's statistically better than the Pittsburgh Regatta if I recall correctly. Maybe using more than one news source would help.

Remember, don't let the media keep fooling you.

I am just comparing Boston to Pittsburgh protests today is all. The one here is tiny at best, but things can escalate even with 20 people. Boston looks like a mess from the live videos I am watching. Cops pushing back crazy crowds and arrests being made. Look horrible.

Anyway, it doesn't matter about Boston really. Just glad I am not there.

No thank you. I am not a puppet to what the media wants us to believe: Our world is in chaos and hate rules everyone's thoughts.
