Hi,

New in US, confused about tips for my wedding service.

Normally do you tip your photographer?? We paid in full 3 months before our wedding.
And the photographer owns the studio. Do people normally tip photographer??? And how much do you tip? The price is 800 dollars for our wedding.

Another is for wedding officiant. We also paid in full 3 months before our wedding. Both of us are not religious. Do we need to tip the officiant and how much? It's 150 for our wedding.

Thank you!!!

I worked as a wedding dj during college, I never received a tip in 3 years. I would say no.

I agree. No tips. that's what their respective fee is for - compenstion for services.

Some wedding and funeral officiants charge nothing up front but expect an "honorarium" to be paid after the service. In your case, you owe nothing although if the event went really well and you were pleased with his performance, you could send a thank you note with a check.
