So these are all recent grads/students who died in car crashes at GS

They were apparently used as Halloween decoration at the HS.
Am i becoming overly sensitive or is this messed up?

Well that is just awful. But it looks like an adult did it given it's on a school door? I don't think you're being sensitive, that is beyond insensitive.

Some not so recent, one goes back to 2009, another 2012. More of a grim reminder of how bad decisions can cost you your life. Do a little investigating on how they died.

^ I could understand if they had some sort of display that had the students' pics, not crappy written headstones on construction paper, with messaging about gone too soon and safe driving suggestions about not drinking and driving, texting and driving, speeding, etc.

I know how they died, but what are you saying, just to be clear?

That this is ok? Without even notifying or asking the families, its ok to use their kids as a Halloween prop?

I know, trying to save face(and maybe even a lawsuit) they are saying its a drinking and driving thing but please, its a black and orange door with graves on it at Halloween, with a smartass remark.

It's blunt, to the point and done in a way the age group can understand. I see no problem here.

But it's a halloween decoration. I think it is in bad taste.

I do NOT think anyone should be suspended or issue an apology. I do hope it is removed, and that the students who erected this are lectured as to how it can be construed as rude, insensitive, and in bad taste. It becomes a learning experience, with no harm done, either physical or otherwise.

As someone who's just had 2 friends recently lose high school age sons in horrific car accidents, this is nauseating.

If I was a student at that school seeing that everyday, it would definitely make me think twice about what could/can happen.

Well it sends a message. Kind of odd, but maybe it is okay considering it might save a life.
