Although my experience interacting with Penndot employees the last 5 years is limited, they're still surly work avoiders. I don't think the culture has changed.

You realize you need a passport to travel on domestic airlines starting in a couple weeks, right?

This is spot on.

This is not true (at least not yet). Pennsylvania was granted an extension on Real ID compliance until October 10, 2018.

I've done quite a bit contract work for PennDOT and found the opposite to be true. Most are there for the benefits as the salaries are lower than market. If you feel like it, just go to Pennwatch and plug in a name of any PennDOT worker and see for yourself.

My passport is alive and well for the last 40 years.

Here is a Youtube video of the plan. GREAT! My only concern is a traffic light on the Highland Park Bridge? I don't think that is a good idea and not needed.

I'm surprised it actually includes up to the delafield interchange, however ROW is not a major component of this project, so I highly doubt they will need the apartment complex. And assured it won't be "eminent domain", That's only when the landowner (not tennants) refuse to move.

Bingo. 95% of construction workers you see on the road aren't penndot

Penndot is the state's scapegoat, but it's private industry doing the work commuters complain about.

My mother lives in a condo complex, not an apartment complex. They are the landowners.

I'm familiar with how condos work. My mistake, I thought you said it was an apartment complex. Nevertheless, I doubt they will be affected much. And even if she is, I assure she will be justly compensated.

When PennDOT takes your house, you are well compensated. And here's a little known fact: If you are renting in a property that will be taken, YOU will be compensated as well. Up to 42 months of rent paid in a lump sum.

I get it for you personally. You literally live right in between the 28 South entrances on Fox Chapel Road and Highland Park Bridge.
