Here are some good builders.

Luxury Custom Home Builder Pittsburgh | New Home Construction in Robinson Township & Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PA) - Londonbury Homes

I really like John R Miller. Remember the R is important as there are other John Millers around.

Been in the business for decades. They will roll up to Murrysville not problem. I would trust either of the builders listed. I had a home build in FC by Londonbury and it was a great deal. They also built a several homes in Oakmont. You go with who you trust. Traveling a some miles isn't a big deal in the building world.

A high end custom homebuilder in a boom market is going to travel from Carnegie to murrysville for a 1400 square foot house. I don't think so.

So you're looking to spend $210 to $245K? Others will know more than I do but I'd be surprised if any custom home builder (or maybe any builder at all) felt that was worth their time.

Valid point; we have came across a few builders who have lower limits on builds.

We are meeting with a local, family-owned business (Parry homes) who seem to build within the range.

I don't know anything about Parry but it's great you found someone. Keep us updated!

They would be wise to consider it. People want smaller homes today, condos and townhomes. Smaller is not always cheaper.
