Just in case anyone wants to have a look at these brave soles tackling some big boy hills.

Good luck to them.

I think this is super cool. I used to cycle somewhat but I'm a runner......well, jogger now. But this bike race is a great idea and it has gotten alot bigger over the years. I think they do Center Ave in Aspinwall which is really difficult, for me anyway, if you're running but not so much biking. The last hill is the steepest in the US. There are clips on youtube of previous races but there isn't any fottage that does justice to the actual steepness of some of the hills. I hope the riders have a decent weather day and it doesn't rain or snow. Good luck to them all.

Bring your bike to Beechview any day of the year. Most of the steepest streets in the US are there. Hit up some good food places after in Beechview or Dormont or Brookline.

Dirty Dozen: The Best Pittsburgh Sporting Event You Probably Haven't Heard About | I heart PGH

They guy on the healthy bike didn't do the whole ride as far as I know, but still impressive. There have been fixed gear riders and other crap going up there. I think someone did it with one foot, but they are just getting up a hill and not actually competitive racing. They riders that can win or be in the top few are insane in comparison.

Here is about this years results. Seems last years winner who would have probably won this year as well, was injured. Sure was lousy weather to say the least. Cold and RAIN!!!! More and more rain!!!!
