Even a brew pub has to have good food. The food wasn't great and with a couple of beers it was insanely expensive for dinner.

Good brewpubs aren't overdone. The Sharp Edge was dated and a little shabby. Apparently the owner's kids didn't want to take over so he is scaling back. Crafton is supposed to be getting another brewpub and Grist House is moving nearby to the old Nike missle site. Insurrection is still #1 for me.

Many don't have food, they have food trucks stop by or people bring their own food. Couch, Leaning Cask and others don't have food at all.

The best brewpub in our region is still North Country. Good beer and VERY good food. Farm to fork burgers that you can actually order nearly raw. Love that!!!!!

Spot on.

I went to Sharp Edge in Friendship regularly when in lived over there, that was 12 yrs ago. It always smelled like a wet rag, and the food was just ok - but we went for the beer and large screen TVs to watch football.

I didn’t know the Creekhouse existed til 2014 when I was regularly driving to WV for work, I really liked that place, very low key, working class vibe. Friendly staff. good memories

Default Building bought.

Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse moved into this location and painted the building a hideous black. It sticks out but it's not very attractive.

They have decent pizza, offer a tasty but basic menu, and offer local brews.

They open on April 1, 2020 (no joke!).
