Which is why this thread has 'suburb' in the TITLE but still somehow became a discussion about Morningside..of course now I'm part of the problem so...apologies.

Any place with street parking and being so close to my neighbors that I can smell what they’re having for dinner and am able to hear their conversations isn’t for me, but I don’t blame anyone for making those areas their preference.

Look at my response and learn. It has to do with density. Aspinwall has parking issues and is very densely populated for such a small place. Do you want to have a party and invite people to your home? Good luck. You want to have a party in Squirrel Hill or Highland Park or Point Breeze? No problem, park wherever you want.

Seems simple enough doesn't it?

Most of the houses lack off-street parking, and there's usually 10 feet or less separating them.

Ok thanks. That defines many areas, I didn’t know that was why Aspinwall would be “too urban”.

A lot of people seem to not like it when houses are packed in closely. I don't understand it personally though. I'm not sure the OP would find it jarring, because Vegas is like a lot of western cities - suburban, but the lot size is very, very small. Houses in Aspinwall probably have larger backyards actually.

Except you weren’t the one that answered the question, but I take your imitation as a form of flattery

Personally, I couldn’t be paid to live that close to anyone, but I understand that others prefer it.

If you read the thread I was the one that answered the question in detail. Good luck to you though.
