Any place with street parking and being so close to my neighbors that I can smell what they’re having for dinner and am able to hear their conversations isn’t for me, but I don’t blame anyone for making those areas their preference.

Look at my response and learn. It has to do with density. Aspinwall has parking issues and is very densely populated for such a small place. I'm not sure the OP would find it jarring, because Vegas is like a lot of western cities - suburban, but the lot size is very, very small. Houses in Aspinwall probably have larger backyards actually.

Personally, I couldn’t be paid to live that close to anyone, but I understand that others prefer it.
