Pittsburgh Mills Mall
Just wanted to make a few comments about this mall and what you guys think about it. First off, what a nice mall, but thats about where it ends. Theres not many good stores and getting from one side to the other side of the mall is a hike! Also, I was there on a Saturday night and wow, the mall was soo empty, other than kids running around everyhwhere. The only bright side was that in almost all the stores, they had great customer service, probably the best in any mall in Pittsburgh. I was just wondering if any of you guys shop there and what you thought about it. Also, did you guys receive good customer service too? and if so, in what stores?

I think they need some better stores... especially for men.... Not all men like to where Steelers gear all the time (in my case, not at all... GO BEARS!!!!).... Anyways, there are like 4 - 6 Pittsburgh sports team stores.... and 5 shoe stores but there are barely any clothing stores for men or that carry mens clothing at all.... Everytime I have been there the service is good but there is also barely anyone there... And that was on a Sunday...

I like the Imax... other than that, no reason to go there over someplace closer.

I went there once to go to the Imax theater and haven't been back since. It's about 20miles from where I live in the city, and all the stores they have out there also have locations closer to where I live. That area of town has a growing sub-urban population, so I think the mall will eventually be fine and will cater to northeastern Allegheny, eastern Butler, and western Armstrong counties.

I know Pittsburgh Mills pulls a lot of people from places like Kittaning and Indiana county. So to me, Pittsburgh Mills feels like hick-heaven. Go to Monroeville or Ross and see females wearing Prada. Go to Pittsburg Mills and see females wearing Steelers Jerseys....Hence all the Steelers gear stores.

I guess that makes sense.... I was wondering why so many steeler stores... Not to generalize but maybe in Hick Heaven men dont care about there clothes and that is why there are no mens stores.... Maybe Flannels and a pair of jeans works... just kidding...

The Mills are quite nice, and certainly more family oriented. In comparison to Monroeville, its safer and yes there maybe "Hicks" there but I feel much safer with "Hicks" than the element I see rovering around Monroeville at night. You can walk the Mall, makes for good exercise especially in the winter, walk to a restaurant (nice selection) and there is a Walmart, and Lowes right there. I typically meet friends there for a movie and dinner. The movie crowd is well behaved, unlike the rude and obnoxious people you see at the Waterfront. In fact its the only place I go for a movie, at least in Allegheny county.

Ah yes. Pittsburgh has recently become so sophisticated that inner city hillbillies like Zip95 have climbed the social ladder to a position where he now feels he's worthy of "putting down" a certain class of mall patron. Hilarious! For God's sake this is Pittsburgh. "Yinz" are all hillbillies!
The "women wearing Prada in [Moronville]" are better than the women at Pittsburgh Mills! Wahhhhhhhhhh! What are you . . . six?
