Can someone recommend some areas outside of the city? What about Glen Willard or crescent.?

I am partial to Siena, Italy.

But I think you may mean a little closer than that--do you have a rough distance in mind?

Depends on what kind of area you're looking for, Glen Willard and Crescent are decent areas. If you can afford a little more (nothing too expensive) I'd recommend Moon, Sewickley (a bit more expensive), North Fayette, Robinson, or Findlay. Steer clear of Ambridge and Aliquippa.

I'd say Monroeville or Penn Hills.close enough to comute to and from a job in the city and also enjoy the hustle and bustle of city living,while preserving the quiet and community oriented comfort of suburban life.
