Default Pittsburgh job market questions

I have a few questions. I know certain jobs do well in other cities (specifically party planning, event planning and concert promotions.) If someone wanted to get into that field in Pittsburgh, I know thier luck may be smaller, but where would they start? I wouldn't mind working in one of those fields, but I wouldn't know where to start. What kind of credentials do I need?

I always wanted to work in the entertainment industry but never knew how to go about it.

Wow. Great question! I have heard that movies are shot often in the Pittsburgh area. So that stuff has to be going on somewhere. Try looking up Public Relations Offices and ask them where to begin! Good Luck!

Thank you. Sounds like a good idea! I think I may also be leaning toward a job as a volunteer coordinator eventually. That one seems more realistic for me....
