the fun of football is the sound of the crowd.

c'mom, mimic it with me, on three - you know, that breathy roar of a crowd brought to life from a sudden sack or interception....one....two.....

If you want to escape the never ending drama of the virus and feeling sorry for some entitled criminals backed by a racist terrorist group, turn the sound off.

Never thought that watching on tv, but certainly attending the game. I’m sure they’ll pump noise in and they’re able to display a virtual crowd if they choose to do so.

I watch for the playing of the game and money on the line. Nothing else beyond that

You can blame the MLB players union for that. They made it clear they didn't want a bubble, so this is what you're going to get. I think the NFL players union is doing a similar thing.

Hockey is doing it right, with a bubble and 2 cities in a country that has managed the outbreak well.

After what MLB owners tried to pull after the agreement they made in May, we’re lucky there’s even a season to possibly be played.

Default not really Steeler-related. maybe indirectly (sad story, though)

if you ever would hear the joy from this kid to be a part of the Ravens and Orioles scene, it would make your day, and for some on this board, possibly less inherently miserable.

they let him throw out the first pitch for i think the 2017 season.

he just loved life as he knew it and loved his teams.

Look, man, I come to this forum to see if I want to move to this city and check on the status of my mother's favorite team, the Steelers.

What I don't like is this mothereffing racism wrapped in your opinion. You most obviously are not black or you wouldn't be as disparaging as you are. I'm commenting on this because I was hoping this was going to be a discussion of the Steelers season instead of some right-wing rant against BLM and the state of America. Can we discuss the Steelers or what? Are they gonna be good? Will Rothlisberger return to form? C'mon man, stop your whining about this and discuss the team.
Lol. I’ll be as disparaging as I want, especially in regards to terrorist hate groups who are going to be represented by the NFL, and that’s exactly what BLM is.

Discuss all you like. What’s your prediction?

They’ll be better than last year.

You confuse whining with reality. If one wants to escape talk of the virus and politics while watching NFL games, turn the sound off.

I'm answering you paragraph for paragraph:

Dude, turn off wherever you get your news and open your mind. BLM is as much of a terrorist hate group as the NRA. You've no idea what BLM is because you probably haven't actually spoken to anyone affiliated with it.

Unless there's more creative play calling and a return to form by Big Ben, then it's not looking too good for the Stillers (my mom's pronunciation). Defense was, uh, okay last year? It's been a while since I caught up with the Steelers - I'm in Seahawks (gag) country. Oh, I'm also from Kansas City, so, I've been a bit preoccupied. Still root for the Black and Gold because my family still lives in Pittsburgh and my grandfather and mother were MASSIVE fans.

I don't confuse anything - I live in reality. You bringing up politics every effing chance you get on this forum is the very definition of whining.

Lol. They’re a cowardly terrorist/hate group. Contrary to what anyone thinks, all lives matter, but that doesn’t fit the entitlement narrative.

Defense was 5th in the league last season, so yeah, you definitely want to catch up.

Actually, I’m just joining in with the politics on this forum, and a black national anthem and serial criminals names on the back of NFL helmets is as political as it gets.

The NFL is a marketing phenomenon. Cramming 5-10 minutes of action in between 3.5 hours of nothingness and commercials, and people can’t get enough.

Much like baseball, except extremely more popular....but I certainly like attempts to speed up MLB play. Only took around 5 hours to finish the Bucs game this past Monday night.
