I would highly recommend the schools/neighborhoods in the South Hills, most notably Upper St. Clair and Mt. Lebanon. Peters Township is also very nice. I believe Upper St. Clair is, hands down, the best school district in Western PA and the homes are terrific there.

You're right -- it is 279. I've been in DC too long.
Back in the day, when 279 was under construction, we all just called it "the new interstate."

Well we have a job offer...... in industrial / construction sales.
Moving across the country with children...... HA.............. is going to be a challenge to say the least I'm sure........ but frankly we can't get out of CA. soon enough. Its something we've wanted for about 10 yrs... I think our time has FINALLY come!
