Actually, even though I have enough credits to get a BSN in the same amount of time, I think I am going to finish my Associate's degree first. I have seen several schools with an Associate's to Master's fast track program. As an eventuality, I want to be either a Nurse Practioner or a Nurse Anesthetist and I have had several nurses tell me that their is no reason to have a BSN in the beginning because it only really comes into play when you are dealing with promotions etc. It seems like, for me, this is the most economically viable course of action. It is soooo much cheaper to go to CACC than Pitt. I wish I had been smart and finished school out of high school so I could live off very little and have my parent's help but, alas, I went out galavanting across the globe, sowing my oats
I haven't checked into Pitt's programs to see if they have that fast track program but I see that as being down the road a bit after I get some hand's on experience.
I have a 4.0.
That has no relevance whatsoever. I just try to work that into any conversation I have. LOL!
