I have no idea about the school districts, but it was the first place I looked when I knew I was moving down here. One of my main complaints is the main thoroughfare, Route 88 (Library Road) is only a two lane road. We have noted that road backed up with traffic beyond belief on a Sunday, so I can't even imagine what it would be like during a weekday. The area has an older feel to me. Not much going on as far as I can see. When I think of where I'm living now, I would have been bored to death in that area.

Castle Shannon Borough
No and not really, are the answers. The person who first settled there named his farm Castle Shanahan to commemorate his Irish roots, and the name has roughly stuck ever since.
