Default Cat Boarding in Pittsburgh

We're moving in to the area this month and we want to board our cat while our stuff is getting moved in. Does anyone know of any good cat boarders?

No. But I usually just put them in the other room or a closet and close the door.
You probably could get a large foldable wire cage to put them in for as much as you would spend on a boarder.
Just for a price idea:
Pet Food, Supplies & Accessories at PETCO

My cats never reacted well to being put in a kennel.

The Petsmart in Monroeville has a pretty nice pet hotel (I believe its $9 a day). I believe there is one on 5th in Pittsburgh too, but its rather ugly and I never used it = /

We get our cats groomed at the 5th Avenue location Humanoid is speaking of (it's called the Golden Bone), and have always been really pleased with the care they take with our fuzzy beasties. For us, the kindness of the employees and the quality of their work matters more to us than the aesthetics of the building's exterior.

We don't generally board our cats (we get a sitter instead), but if we had to I would consider taking them to the Golden Bone.

However, I agree with the recommendation earlier in the thread to just shut them up in a carrier or cage in a quiet room during the moving process.

The place looks like a jail, so we never bothered to go in.

The monroeville petshotel is great for dogs and I've been very happy with it the many times we've used it. The cats get put in a quiet room of cages off to the side, if you really feel like you have to board them while you are moving I think it would be fine.
