Greetings Kathy, it would no doubt help us all if you filled out your needs a little more. What kind of a commute do you want, what area is the job in? We're all eager to help but need to know a little more if you could.

check into butler and Indiana and some of the northern towns like Clarion ,Kittaning,Titusville,Sharon,Grove City , Slippery Rock ,franklin, oil city ,meadville, even Erie ,if you don't need to be in or around Pittsburgh itself ,Check this site out www.pacareerlink.state.pa.us/ this is the site for PA state ran job center , just setup a profile and in the browse job section just put down what you are looking and thats it it should come up with every job avaible in the state thru their site but watch the dates on them they don't clean out the jobs very often, then all you have to do is setup a resume to post .
A good area for places to rent is in the north very rural in places but you can afford to live there and the schools are pretty decent too.Jobwise you may have to work doing something else til something comes around.
good luck

One more thing buy yourself a Pennsylvania topographic map book from DeLorme it will be a good reference for you when deciding where to move and see where a job is located.

Kat,
If you do move here, don't forget the "h", its Pittsburgh. For $150K you can find a nice house in any number of areas. The Moon,Airport area is nice.
