Love retro vacation? You should go all of these:

1. Ligonier Beach - Welcome to Ligonier Beach
2. Idlewild Park Welcome to Idlewild and SoakZone
3. Fort Ligonier Welcome to Fort Ligonier
4. Seven Springs resort - try alpine slide in the summer! Seven Springs Mountain Resort - 7 Springs
5. Ohiopyle's whitewater rafting adventure
6. Laurel Cavern - take spelunking tour in the dark
7. Storybook Forest if you have kids or love Mister Rogers
8. Seldom Seen Mine - take a tour in the coal mine if you're brave
9. Horseback riding in most places at Laurel Highland area.

Been there, done that for 20 years.

Well, I started this thread after a trip to Ohiopyle, which I loved. I've been meaning to go to Idlewild too...I love the old amusement parks, and Pennsylvania seems to have quite a few. Next trip to the Laurel Highlands, we plan on horseback riding, after going to Fallingwater and maybe Kentuck Knob.
