I think every state run university and college should take this program up, as there is a major shortage of volunteer firefighters throughout the state.

Only watching the sexy men on TV do it That and the house fire we had at or house in '04 where I ran screaming to the neighbors at 3 in the morning to use her phone
(I hope I don't offend anyone here) I bartended at a "Gentlemen's Club" in Austin when I was younger. There was this tiny dancer there...I mean really tiny, like 4'11 90 lbs, that was being trained to be a fireperson. I always wondered ow she wasn't carried away by the hoses
Anyway, I am going to do it, I think. My major is nursing so I am sure the expierience would be relevant and I would be, I hope, an asset to the Dept.
