I finally have a good reason to resurrect this thread:
So, I was driving back from the Washington County Fair, and of course I had to go through the Fort Pitt Tunnel. I was thinking about how it still hasn't gotten old even after a year, and all of a sudden, I was on the Fort Pitt Bridge blah blah blah you know the drill. The only difference was it was right as the grand finale of the seemingly nightly fireworks at PNC was going off. Wow.

I bet that would be neat-o, I've never been able to come through the tunnel during a fireworks display
Pierogies...I need 'em. Where do you guys suggest I go. It would help if someone knows a place up my way (West View) but I'll go anywhere for the best!
I know this isn't west view, but i thought i would mention it any way.I was at Pittsburgh mills and saw a store that was called Pierogies.I didn't stop,But it looks like thats all they sell or maybe it's just their specialty.
I had to resurrect this one. I finally saw turkeys! I had seen them at South Park (in with the buffalo/bison, but it didn't count), but I was driving up Benton Ave on the south slope of O-Hill and first one ran out in the road, then ran back into the trees, where I saw a second one. After driving a few more yards, I saw a whole herd of them in the field there at the intersection with Bascom. There were at least ten of them!
