Do you guys have a Tom Martino of Pittsburgh? (contractors, income)

Hi,
I was wondering if Pittsburgh had a Tom Martino (a person who refers contractors, services and puts his name on it) here in Pittsburgh. I just had a duct cleaner out here, and he tried to scam me. I told him to put the vents back on, I am not paying $749 bucks to have my vents cleaned. I have heard people say if you live in a higher income area, you will get a quote double of what it should be. I think it is deplorable, I was scammed by Sears Carpet Cleaning when I first moved here, and learned my lesson. The two guys took off without putting my vents back on, just deplorable. I found out this business that was going to clean my vents had 37 complaints this year thus far, I was wondering beside the BBB if there was a Pittsburgh website for referring good companies. I used a big name company and that did not matter.
I would appreciate any help.
