River tubing/floating
Any recommendations to a decent river tubing/floating down a river operation within 1 hour of Pittsburgh?
Not whitewater rafting, just looking for a relaxing voyage with the current, and having somebody pick us up at the end of the journey to return us to our car. Bonus points for those adventures without the Deliverance experience.
Many thanks!

Minnesota is the place you aught to be... Detroit Lakes has three tubing outfitters in operation that get you from or to the river and back.

That's not quite within an hour of Pittsburgh, though.
I don't know specifics, but I'd check around the Ohiopyle/Yough/Laurel Highlands area. There has to be someplace like you're looking for there.

The Allegheny has several outfitters along its banks, particularly up near the Kinzua Dam. Here's a nice article about one of them.
Here's a couple more:
Allegheny Indian Waters
Outback Adventures
I did the Allegheny Indian Waters one last year and it was a blast! Their place is run out of a house right on the river. You park at their house, they drive you in a big van up to the Kinzua Dam and drop you off. You can then float back to their house and stop there, or you can keep going past their house and they will schedule a pickup with you. The camping is pretty cool if you decide to do an overnight, there are some islands in the river you can camp on, and some killer campsites along the banks of the rivers. Overall, it was a blast!

I wasn't serious - but am sorry I never found out about the places mentioned in the above post... Ohiopyle I'm familiar with for white water rafting, but never did I see a tubing operation.
