homeschooling or alternative schools?
How big is homeschooling in Pitt.? Is it pretty common?

There is a lot of cyber school usage in my district. Homeschool is less popular but once you're in a homeschool group, you don't feel so alone. I'd research homeschooling in your given area to find a group.

There's some magnet and charter schools in the area, city arts school and city performing arts school. I don't know how reputable they are though, hopefully someone will chime in with more info.
