One of our friends who used to live in Pittsburgh told us to go to this cookie shop in Homestead that has great cookies and a waiting list around christmas time. Of course he didn't remember the name, does anyone know where this might be? He said it was near the waterfront

No, but have you checked out Oakmont Bakery yet? You are only 15 minutes or so from there! You MUST go!

Default cookies

I don't know about the place in Homestead, but there is Moio's in Monroeville that makes incredible Italian wedding cookies. Not inexpensive, but a special treat.

I just made my first trip to Oakmont Bakery this past Wednesday and LOVED it. You can also have lunch there (they have a cafe.)

I love the croissants, bagels and cupcakes. I may try to make monthly trips there

For baked goods, it'll be worth the risk.
