I could not agree with you more. The City of Pittsburgh sure does unite regardless of age, race, ethnicity, or religion with one common hope in mind, another Steeler superbowl. The vibe in Pittsburgh during Steeler season is what makes football season, for me, the best time of the year.

A friend of mine works down Western Peneteniary and was working during the game. He told me that all through the jail during the game, you could hear screaming, cheering, and whisteling. It even happens in prison. I was down Hitops on the Northside a few years back for a steeler game. In walks this kid who I never really liked, him and I just didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things and we never got along. I remember thinking "here we go" thinking it was gonna be drama. he was in a steelers jersey and so was I, at the end of the game he walked up to me and said "Go Steelers", we shook hands and went our seperate ways. That's my cheesy story.

I will be returning to the burgh for good in 3 weeks, and after being gone for 6 years, I must say I am really excited to be heading back to the burgh, and just in time.

Cool, I was in the Air Force too, several years ago, couldn't wait to get back to the area either.
