Where's the best unheard of breakfast place in Pgh?
I'm looking for a good regular breakfast place. You know, the place you sit down before work and eat and drink coffee every morning. Not interested in franchised places like Brueger's, Einsteins, etc. and I already know of the popular ones like DeLuca's, Smithfield Cafe, etc.
Where are the great little deli/restaurant kind of places in the city? (I'm not opposed to going a little outside the city either).

It is not exactly unknown at this point, but the Square Cafe (on Braddock in Regent Square) serves a nice, slightly upscale, breakfast in a funky setting.

Pamela's on Forbes in Oakland, can't remember what side street it's near, but it's heading west towards downtown, past the Litchfield Towers

I agree on Pamela's. the lyonnaise potatoes are really great. The lines on weekends can be excessive though and they do not accept plastic.
I am going to go out on a limb here...when I was a kid, the village dairy on Shiloh St. in Mt Washington had a great breakfast. That was 20 years ago, so Im not sure if they are still there or under the same ownership but I drove by there not all THAT long ago, and the sign still said village dairy. Might be worth a shot.
