That's the kind of perspective that we're talking about in this thread--it's just football.
You just don't get football, that's all.

So I went to Dick's and got my Steelers Championship shirt. Just trying to fit in here.

The place was packed. People carrying armfuls of Steelers stuff to the registers. This stuff isn't cheap either. $22 for a shirt, $30 for a hat. People dropping $100+ on Steelers gear during a recession like it's nothing, gotta love it! lol

I'm wondering how the drunks in Oakland managed to burn to the ground a steel and glass bus shelter at Forbes and Bigelow. Those thngs cost about $25,000 to build. And the overturned cars, burnt couches, and smashed storefronts were just too cute for words. Thanks God this drunkfest is over for another year. But wait! Soon local news will be leading the countdown to 'em 'ere Stillers trainin' camp!

Yeah, ****ing brilliant.

Hey, we won the superbowl- maybe we'll benefit a LITTLE BIT economically from it. Nerp.

I hope everyone who rioted, or anyone who riots for any sporting event in their own city ****ing chokes to death.

Seriously! Other than the college kids in Oakland, it was rather well behaved, just lots of jubilance and rawdiness in the streets was all.

How are you so sure no CMU and Carlow kids weren't involved?
