does U of Pitt main have a teaching degree program for secondary ed. i looked and couldnt find it under majors

there is no undergrad 4-year degree for teaching / secondary ed. You have to get a 4 year degree in something (if you're going for secondary ed, in what you want to teach ... elementary ed probably psych or soc. or something), then they offer a certificate / masters program for education.

I have a friend who majored in art and got her certificate in an intense one year program and is now an elementary school art teacher.
