Default hair salons that cut hair for donation

Hi,
I'm new to the area and I'm looking for a hair salon that cuts hair for free for those that want to donate their hair.
I live in the East side of Pittsburgh, but I'm willing to drive in other areas of Pittsburgh as well.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions of such hair salons.

Thank you very much,
crilvsk

My daughter always donates her hair, but she never found anyone who would cut it for free.

Good luck in your search.

If you're donating to "Locks of Love", I was reading on another board about the same question in the Pittsburgh area. The answers there were Fantastic Sams & Great Clips. The poster said they do cut it for free if you're donating your hair. Another thread mentioned Philip Pelusi, but they offer a 50% discount and only on certain days of the week (Mondays?).

Sometimes if you call a salon you know and/or like, they'll offer a discount too!

Thank you for your your suggestions. I just had my hair cut at Fantastic Sam in Plum and I'm very happy with the result!

You are welcome Pitt Chick. Fantastic Sam has few salons in Pittsburgh. I chose the on in Plum just because it was closer to my place. Hope your daughter will find one closer to her.
