Default Crafton, PA..Just A Few Questions...

I was looking at a resonably priced 1 bed room apartment in Crafton, PA. I live close by, and have been through there a couple times. To me, it just looks run down..my question is, is it safe? I don't know if anyones heard anything about it. My main thing is, I can live in a somewhat dated community and worn down, but I most important I need to feel completely safe. I don't know what exact area in Crafton it's in either.

Any info would be nice. Thanks.

i've lived in crafton a little over a year now and i feel completely safe. if you need an apartment, emerald gardens, located right outside of crafton. i've been there for a while now and like it a lot. i feel 100% safe, it's also a gated community.

I lived in Crafton 20 years ago, from '88 to '93. We had a big one-bedroom apartement in a four unit house right off of Crafton Boulevard. I always felt safe there, and it was convenient, right on a bus route and shopping nearby.

I lived in an apartment in an old Victorian for 10 years. Bought a house in another area 2 years ago, but really liked living in Crafton. Completely safe, and very convenient to everywhere as it is so centrally located.
