Those will vary widely.
It depends on who your provider is, your ZIP (esp for car ins), how frugal you are on usage (thermostat settings, front loading washer, level of cable, etc), who all makes up your family (teens + showers = high water bills!) and so on.
Size of the house, orientation of house, method of heating, and amount of insulation matters too.
That said... 2400 sq ft 1966 house:
electric $80
water $27
sewer $42
natural gas $90
cable $90
trash $15
phone (landline) $24
car insurance (3 vehicles, 3 drivers including a student) $2200 per year

WOW. $80 for electric in a 2400 sq. ft house. I know all along us Long Islanders have been getting shafted. But not like this. Holy comolly. Unbelievable!!
I guess the Pittsburgh area doesnt combine water and sewer? And I guess garbage is not included in your taxes?

I don't think they go into the city so just to compare....
Allegheny Power:
.04545 KWH Generation Charge
.0045 KWH Transmission
.0187 KWH Distribution
.00025 KWH Intangible Transition
----------------
.069
----------------
It was nearly half of Duquesne Light when I moved.

1 KWH. Most likely you will have Duquesne Light Co. and it's higher.
My bill also includes on top of that:
.2984% PA Tax Adjustment (I'm guessing this is the same for everyone?)
$5.00 Customer Distribution (An add-on that looks like it might be for their customers only?)

Will all charges factored in for my Allegheny Power bill, it comes out to 7.5 cents KWH. Mine is rate code 108/10 if that matters.

This is a good question... I will be paying gas myself and I am extremely worried about how much it would cost to heat my house. The house is in Forrest Hills.

Heating bills will swing wildly. Some houses are older, some like it 70 deg. while some like it 67 deg., etc. But after getting enough responses on here you can kinda get an average on what the cost will be. Lets hope alot of people feel ok posting the info.
