I'm dying over here, can't wait to visit home real soon. It might sound crazy, but I really miss the snow. When I come home I usually come during the winter; I wasn't fortunate to do it this year.
People think that Ca. is so great, but I really miss the 4 season's, and the tight gear... Plus my Steelers fans

Hey, I moved to Charleston, SC about a year ago, and I see black and gold everywhere!! I always ask whoever's wearing it whether they're from Pittsburgh, and 95 percent of the time they're locals, but huge Steelers fans. It always cheers me up to see Steelers jerseys and license plates amid all the palm trees and Spanish moss.

Go Steelers!

Tight Gear= Nice Clothes

San Diego is lacking nice clothing; these people are all beach heads.
When you have the four season's you can change clothes all the time.
Not to mention the wack Chargers gear on "everybody and their momma."
I mean the powder blue and baby yellow(My Little Pony) is killing me; but they will feel my TERRIBLE TOWL this sunday!

And you know this..... I'm happy to here that, it's funny because San Diego and LA have big, big Steelers fans(Snoop Dogg),and a lot of Steelers only bars. Not to mention, gangs that are called Steelers,"crazy huh."
Black and Gold all day!
Did you move from the Steel City to SC?

Yes, we moved about a year ago. My husband got a master's in education and was unable to find a teaching job there. I was a little bitter about it - he was 46 and had an impressive background that contributed greatly to a natural segue into teaching. Unfortunately, he had no connections on any school boards so subbed for a year and, being in his mid-40s, was ready to get a full-time position. He had five offers over the phone before we ever moved from Pittsburgh.

I love it here. The weather today is sunny and 69, while in Pittsburgh it's in the 30s and mostly overcast (as usual). I do miss the people there, and the fall colors, but that's about it. I'm proud to be from Pittsburgh, it will always hold a special place in my heart, but it's pretty easy to love Charleston, too.

Are you a Pittsburgh native?
