Default Relocating to Coraopolis/Moon Area, what is best?

We would like to get some info on the Moon area mostly. We have two young children, almost 3 and 1. We would like to find a place within driving distance to the Airport area as my husband will be working there. I've read many thing about Coraopolis and have decided against it. I would like to stay on that side of the river though, so no Shaler. We will be only staying a few years so are undecided on purchasing a house vs. renting. I would appreciate any info. As schools are not of importance right now I'm not worried about that. Also, I've heard that the neighboring county has lower taxes. Are there any town close to there that would be good?

Thanks,
Sara

Default Peters Twp

The nicest and safest area is Peters Township, Washington County. The houses are a little pricier, but most come with an acre lot and very cheap taxes. It's very convenient to I-79 which makes the commute to Moon pretty easy.

I think that might be too far for what we would like in Peters Twp. I was thinking more in Beaver County. Is there anything there?

Butler county would be just as far. Look around in Hopewell twp just over the county line in Beaver county. Renting a place in Moon would probably work just as well. I would advise against purchasing a property if you are only staying a few years. You'd have a tough time recouping your costs in so short of a time frame.

Beaver County would be great. There is great access to the airport via Highway 60. Almost anyplace would do. Even Chippewa Twp in way western BC would not be too far (~1/2 hr drive). I'd say look for a place with good access to 60.
