Moody's: City has best commercial real estate market in U.S.

By Ron DaParma, TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Friday, January 23, 2009

Pittsburgh's commercial real estate market has improved to No. 1 in the nation, according to Moody's Investors Service.

The New York-based ratings company's fourth-quarter Red-Yellow-Green report this week ranked the seven-county region as the top overall among of 60 metropolitan markets across the nation.

The rating culminates a long-climb back for the local market, which Moody's ranked among the 10 "most troubled" throughout most of 2005.
