Default Where to move?

I am considering moving to the Pittsburgh area, so we can be closer to my family in Fairmont, WV and my fiancee's family in Steubenville.

I'm thinking that an area south of Pittsburgh would be perfect for a location. Can someone please give me an idea of some safe areas with a great school system? Thanks.

I would love an area where I could have a house with a nice size yard. I grew up in a house that was in a somewhat rural area, but was within a mile of the interstate and the city. I had a large yard and didn't have to live on top of my neighbors. I'd love to find the same kind of thing.

Also, a nice golf course somewhat nearby would be great. Don't tell my fiancee though.

Thanks

South Fayette and Upper St. Clair, which are in the South Hills, are both near Interstate 79, which takes you to Fairmont. They both have good schools.

Well, here's a little advice, move closer to Steubenville, welcome to married life.

Try Robinson Township which now has a quick turnpike spur to Rte 22-30. Or any township along 22-30, reasonable home prices in all areas out there.

Washington, PA is around an hour to both Steubenville and Fairmont, a little over a half an hour to downtown Pittsburgh.

What is Washington like? I've always driven through it on 79/70. I get this impression that there isn't much to it, but I don't know how much I'm not seeing.
