Visiting Pittsburgh: Hotel in the White Oak area?
I will go to Pittsburgh in April for a week or so and would like to find a hotel close to White Oak (near McKeesport) or downtown Pittsburgh close to shopping areas, free parking included a must. Not expensive.
Thanks for your hints!

There are a couple in West Mifflin on Lebanon-Church road by the County Airport and Century Three Mall. They are a short drive to McKeesport, and downtown.

You can find cheaper motels in west mifflin, on route 51 near century 3 mall. Starlite and Jefferson hills motel are two, and I think there is one more (if you want to go that route).
There are some cheap motels in north versailles but I would avoid those.
There's also a couple on route 30 in north huntingdon, which may or may not be closer to white oak, but I dont know anything about those. Here is what I found:
-Penn Irwin Motel
(724) 863-3870
9111 Route 30, North Huntingdon, PA
-Doug's Motel
(724) 863-5630
13930 Route 30, North Huntingdon, PA

I agree, stay in Monroeville, they have a nice mall, restuarants and etc. There is a Red Carpet there, cheap, nice and clean and close to everything, mapquest it maybe.
