I am pretty new to PA. We live in Mt. Lebanon. I have a couple coming up (from Cinti. Ohio) for a visit in May. Just a long weekend. This is a 'suprise' trip for my best friend planned by her hubby. So here is my question... I have 2 kids (3 and 5) and they have one (also 5). He has Cerebral Palsy. Can someone give me ideas of thing to do that is handicaped friendly? We were thinking of taking them to a Pirates Game the weekend they play the Cinti Reds...but I am totally unsure of this. I have never been and have no idea if it is handicaped friendly/accessable. Good idea or not? What about the Children's Museam? Any other ideas that we can all go to and have fun...and be comfortable? TIA.

There is plenty of handicap access at PNC Park. As a matter of fact, if you would get tickets now, there is a good chance you would get excellent seats.

Definitely Children's Museum. I used to go there as a kid and I loved it. Seriously, it is one of my favorite childhood memories. I think the kids would have a great time.(you too! )

PNC Park is supposedly one of the best handicapped accessible ball parks in the country.
