Default moving from billings

Hey I've been thinking a lot about moving out of Billings for a while hoping to get away from the whole small town thing. I recently decided on moving to Pittsburgh to go to the Art Institute there and was wondering what people have to say about a move like that, things like job availability, stuff like that. I know that the cost of living is actually very close to that of Billings. I guess my main questions are about what there is to do. How well would a kid who's into tattoos, punk rock and other similar things fare in Pittsburgh? One of the huge problems I have with Montana is the close mindedness of the people around so I'm definitely hoping for a more accepting type place. Any input?

Having never been to Montana, I can't comment on what it's like. Pittsburgh is big enough to have almost any scene you want to be in, and small enough that it's not overwhelming. Yep, you'll find a community of tattoed and pierced punk rockers, as well as a variety of other types of people. Neighborhoods you'll like are Downtown, North Side, South Side, Oakland, Lawrenceville, Garfield, all within the city limits. Have fun!
