Does anyone have children in the riverview school district? It doesn't seem to be rated too high, but I know the ratings are based solely on test scores. If you do have kids in the district, what are your impressions? good teachers? enough extra curricular activities? art and music classes?

I don't know much about the ratings. I just know it is a class A high school, which is the smallest classification in PA. There is AAAA, AAA, AA, and A. Riverview is in Oakmont, which is a very quaint riverfront town in the Allegheny Valley. Oakmont and neighboring Verona make up Riverview. There is big money up on the hill of Oakmont. The town itself has a nice business district with a lot of shops and eateries. Oakmont Bakery is one of the best anywhere. Maybe you already know this, but this is what I know of the area of Riverview School District. I imagine it is of decent quality.
