Long Shot- But looking for someone who can play the piano (a couple of love songs) at a downtown hotel
Pretty as the title says. I would pay you to come down to a 4-star hotel, and play a long song or two for my lady. It would be as a surprise for her. If you can play and sing something romantic I would take care of your time.
DM me.
Thanks!

Oh, wait. I just read your post. It doesn't sound like this is a local gig. I'm not comfortable making recommendations now---especially after the latest news stories of a serial killer who is using craig's list to find victims. I'm not saying that's you. I'm just saying that I think that might be a reason why you're having problems finding someone over the internet. I would think a 4-star hotel would have a better way to find talent. Ask the hotel's events department to help you.

If I was in town I'd do it gratis, from one romantic fellow to another. But you should call Duquesne, their Music School, it's just up on the Bluff, they could walk it. I went there and no doubt you can find a starving student that could use the pay day.

Read his post. He wants to fly someone to another city. This doesn't sound like a local gig.

That was a good idea, I'll keep it in mind for next time. I really didn't find anyone, no worries, I have enough planned for this evening, this would have been icing on the cake.
Not quite sure why someone thought this was out of town? I was talk about the Omni Hotel in downtown PGH.
Well have fun with you and yours!

FYI...You will have to get permission well in advance to play the piano at the Omni. They lock up the keys. It is a grand piano that was donated by Andre Previn in 1983 when he left the Pittsburgh Symphony for the LA Philarmonic. A lot of people want to play it, but is simply not possible without permission well in advance.

That's good to know as I defintely would like to surprise her there again. We ended up at Little E's Jazz Club and I had the band that was performing make a dedication and sing a wonderful Brazilian love song. It was a great nite.
