Does anyone know where it is possible to get the MMR vaccine broken into 3 seperate shots?

I'm not sure you can get the separate vaccines any more. We have a website at work (I work in a pediatricians' office) where people could order the separate vaccines online, but the last I heard, they weren't selling it any more.

I work in a doctor's office also and peds patients only get the two doses of MMR. So unless you had this as a child you wouldn't need several shots. Age 19-49 only gets one single dose of this Vaccine. Ages 50 and older gets one dose also.

One of the autism theories is that a childs immune system gets overwhelmed with a multifaceted vaccine and that's a cause of autism. So some parents want to spread out the vaccines.

At least they want to get their kids vaccinated -- out here it's becoming the norm to not vaccinate at all.

There is no proof vaccinations cause autism. These people will be sorry if their kid/kids end up with on of these diseases. I'm old enough to remember polio.

I believe the truth, and the truth is that big pharma is concerned with their bottom line profits more than my child's well being. Does MMR cause autism... probably not, do my kids really need to be injected with all those shots... probably not.

This is a long read, but really eye opening.

I hope that someday there's a legal precedent for putting people with absolutely no medical education who think like this away for child abuse or something. It's such an insanely selfish, anti-social idea. It must not occur to them that when their child ends up carrying around these 100% preventable illnesses and infects other children whose parents DO intend to vaccinate but haven't (perhaps the child is too young or just getting over something) and those children die it should be on their conscience.

You're never "just responsible for your own child" in a civilized society. If you must do this sort of thing, at least go live on a mountaintop or something.
