Speaking of electricity and tankless hot water systems, if you're considering using electric models, watch their electric consumption. Last time I looked, an average size unit uses 13KW's when it kicks on. If you're on a demand meter or smart meter, you may get screwed. If you're on a generator, is it big enough to handle that 13KW? (Most aren't). A traditional ele. hot water tank uses 4KW heating elements.
