Miss MSilver, where in So Ca do you live? My husband and I are also thinking that we may retire around Pgh. I lived in Beaver County until I was 25, and my husband moved to CA when he was a young boy. It probably won't be for a few more years for us either, but is not something definite. It's nice that you have visited in the winter. We would have to do this before deciding to move, as this is what concerns me most about moving back. I don't mind the weather at all during spring, summer and fall, as I think it's rather boring here.

Cathy

It sure has! As a general rule of thumb, you can't really go wrong if you choose the North Hills/northern Suburbs.
