Default Midland, PA?

My parents are visiting this weekend, and we're going to a jazz concert at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland on Sunday. Is there anything else worth seeing out that way while we're there? Good restaurants or landmarks? I confess that anything past the airport is "here be monsters" territory for me.

mister brewski is on a distinguished road
No, Midland is pretty far out there and isn't a very nice town at all. I'm sure you could find nice places to eat elsewhere in Beaver county on the ride out there or back, but in Midland I'd watch the show and leave.

The Wooden Angel in Beaver is a nice restaurant and it's nearby.

Don't forget the Wooden Indian!

It's the same restaraunt area, but it's the casual side -- no booze or beer, either, because that side is in Beaver. And Beaver is dry.

Is Jerry's Curb Service still in Bridgewater?
That is fun and different.

Also, there is a restaurant on the river (Kelly's??) that is nice, especially when the patio is open.

If you get a chance, stop at Kretchmar's Bakery in Beaver... YUM!

I believe Kelly's is the place where that Amber who was on "Survivor" worked.
