Default Wanting to move back to Pittsburgh

I am looking for any help what so ever. I graduated this past December from Geneva College with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and minors in physics and mathematics. I also attended Pittsburgh Technical Institute from 2002-2004 and graduated with an associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.

What I need is any companies that anyone might know would be looking for an entry level electrical engineer. I have applied all over the east coast and haven't heard much response. Most companies want 5+ years experience and I don't have it nor can I get it without getting an entry level job.

I have applied at Westinghouse a lot and have yet to hear back from them at all. I have a friend that even knows people that work there and can't get an interview either.

I have posted and looked for jobs on monster, career builder, dice, yahoo hotjobs, and craigslist.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appriciated!

My advice would be to keep applying; accept any interview you get anywhere in the country; consider any offer you get seriously. There's an old saying that the best way to get a job is to have a job. In this economy, having a job is quite an accomplishment. When the economy improves, you can get specific in your location.

Westinghouse is still hiring and they have hired plenty of folks right out of college but they are slowing down. You may want to watch out for one of their job fairs--it is a great way to get seen right away for a first round interview.

PTI does but they can only help with technician jobs. I went back to school to be an engineer. Geneva is almost no help when it comes to finding jobs though...
