Hello,

I'm in the insurance industry working as a customer service rep/inside sales. Do you think it would be possible to find work along these lines? My skills are transferrable to other industries as well.

Thanks for responding if you have any information you can pass along.

UPMC Health Plan in downtown Pittsburgh usually has need of CSR's, especially with experience in health insurance. I worked there for 6 years in the Medical Review Department - LOVED it - only left because I relocated 40 miles north of the city, which made commuting downtown prohibitive. There are other major health insurance companies in the Pittsburgh area also, including Coventry, which is located in Cranberry, and Robinson Twp. Aetna (I wouldn't work there as a CSR if they paid $30/hr) is also located in the Robinson Twp area. Same with Cigna. There are quite a few escapees from Aetna and Cigna who came to UPMC Health Plan.

Hope this helps!

blessings, Shen

Check out Monroeville and RIDC in Blawnox. Both are convenient to the areas you mentioned.
