TOWNS and TOWNSHIPS around PITTSBURGH that celebrate HALLOWEEN:
I am interested to know if there are any smaller towns and/or townships in the surrounding Pittsburgh area that celebrate Halloween on a fairly large scale-- Meaning that practically the entire town decorates for Halloween in some way. If you know of one/some, please name them below...

When we were out there one October recently, it seemed like every place was decorated up for Halloween.

Ya, just about everywhere around here gets into Halloween. It's actually my second favorite holiday of the year.

What's your fave? Mine is 4th of July, 'cuz it's my DD's birthday. Second is Halloween. Maybe it comes from having grown up in Pgh, where it's such a big deal.

I can't really think of an area that doesn't get into Halloween.

It's kind of amazing how in the past 5-10 years people have just gone to town with the Halloween decorating. People used to have pumpkins on the porch, Indian corn, maybe a paper skeleton taped to the door. Now there are purple and black Halloween lights and giant inflatable hearses driven by skeletons in the front yard.

This is true. When I was a kid, growing up in the Pgh area, it wasn't quite so overdone. I have never seen an inflatable hearse driven by a skeleton. Awesome!
