I want to say something about Pittsburgh sports fans.
We are just amazing.

I live here in SoCal for the time being so the Lakers are big news right now.
They had a parade, etc for them.

Police estimates for the crowd was about 350,000 total (on the streets and at the coliseum).....ONLY 350,000??? Geez, In Pittsburgh, a much smaller town, 375,000 people showed up!! (wish I coulda been there).

Tonight on the news out here in SoCal, they called LA "the city of champions"!!?
sheeesh.....

A great series ('cept for that 5-0 shutout), but I DIG it when the Stanley Cup finals go 7 games.

Dem dere Steelers are pretty dang good too!

See ya next year....

Sincerely,

Wings fan, Tigers fan, Lions fan , and sometimes Cardinals fan. Hey, I live HERE now and they have a cool stadium.

Your sportsmanship far exceeds that of your fellow fans. Good on ya!

And GO PENS, Go STEELERS, and... well, Pirates, you might need some after school help.

Yeah, and they don't even have a football team.

I just like good hockey. Too bad we don't get that out here in Phoenix.

I get a lot of crap out here when I wear my Red Wings garb. People hate us.

We're not short on Steelers fans here though.

I remember how bad the Pirates were in the 50s.... Rickey's Rinky Dinks... then they came through with what I think is the greatest World Series win ever in 60 beating the mighty Yanks.

You never know

But I guess it is a stretch seeing as how that happened almost 50 years ago!
